RE: What should i run in the 1/4 ?
It's said that every tenth off your 60' is .2 off the 1/4 time so I think you have a high 13 there. I HIGHLY recommend www.brenspeed.com for the tuner. Brent gives you 3 CUSTOM TUNES for the 3 octane levels you tell him you may use. I even sent mine back for a minor adjustment and Brent deleted the 91 octane tune for race fuel at no charge, great guy to do business with. Mark

No, get a tuner from someone you would be dyno tuning from. My tuner gives me free updates for life. Don't buy a tuner online.

ya i have been looking around almost everywhere, the prices are the same. Im going with the SCT programmer. If i were to go with say stage 2 cams and a P&P heads would the computer have to be retuned? i know a tune is always good no matter what you put on but would it hurt the engine if you didnt get 1 done?

It depends how sticky you want to go...you should be good with some nitto's or bfg's. Some of the big boys like et streets, but you will most likely bog with them. You should get a tune with any major mod package( eg. cams and such). I have been where you are, and the hardest thing I had to learn was that sometimes you run better et's without using as much gas off the line. Traction makes time!

Ya i heard the nittos were really good. How much do they usually go for? and if i were to get DRs i know that they dont last long, something like 3k miles on them or sumthing if i were to drive around town. Would it be ok to drive with them everyday or should i just put them on when going to the track?
