Default 70mm TB

If I bolt this on to my stock plenum, will I notice ANY performance gains? All my car has is an intake and a catback.. Dont really want to spend $350-400 on a TB/plenum combo, their just wayyyy overpriced.

If you take a marker and trace around the inside of the tb(youll be writing on the extra 5mm of plenum) Then you can take off the plenum and use a dremel to grind off all the part that you marked so there isnt so big of an edge which should make it flow better. Then clean it out real good so you dont have shavings in your engine. That should help. I wouldn't expect incredible results but it should work.

Should I even bother buying only the TB? Or will that be $200 wasted?

for a stock 2v a 70mm gets decent gains, a 75 will make better numbers when more mods are applied.

Whats the inlet size of the stock plenum? Would a 70 or 75 mm be a waste on a STOCK plenum?

I would not have bought my 70mm plenum if I had not gotten a great price. There were gains but not the gains to justify hundreds of $$$$

I picked up a 70mm TB locally for $125.00

The brand is Professional Products
