I have an 06 Mustang GT convertible with a 5 speed. I recently added MAC mufflers. Looks great, sounds awesome, but the cabin drone at 1800-2100 RMS is annoying especially in traffic. What affect would changing my stock 3.55 gears have on the RPM's? I was thinking 4.10 gears would make the RPMs rev higher and get me out of the drone range during my hwy cruising speeds. Any advice?

 

there is a gear calc. link somewhere in this section, you can put in your tranny and gear ratio and find what rev you will be turning.
