Air Filter size

Air Filter size
When i got my BBK It did not come with a filter. While taking the advice on someone from another forum i got a small K&N. The filter i got seems to be REAL small. Maybe a bit smaller then the stock one. Does any one know what filter size is to small? i am think i coulf fit a bigger one in the fw.
