RE: ANYONE-DRAG RADIALS ON THE STREET?
Nitto's are awesome! i had street tires for a long time and could barely do anything without breakin loose. at the track i can leave w/ my nitto's at like 4,000 rpm's. not droppin the clutch but damn near it. and on the street i can leave pretty hard too. Nitto says to lower rear tire pressure to 16 lbs. to allow for a flatter tread pattern. it helps immensely. o and just dont drive it hard in the rain and you'll be fine.
the pic is of a cobra i'm lookin at. a 99 w/ 25k on it for 15,500 tell me what u think

I run bfg g-froce t/a drag radials 315/35/17. They are almost completely bald now after a good 4months or so, didn't last for very long mileage wise though. But I get on it alot, I didnt buy my Mustang to drive it like an economy car. Havent really had any real rain at all though, doesnt happen too much here in Cali. I'll be trying out some nitto 555Rs next...hopefully they last longer, lol.

You guys must have beat on your tires hard then.
I've got about 11,000 miles on my MT ET STREET RADIALS now..
they arent all season tires by all means, but in contrast of what the '98 GT guy said,, if you drive with a head, you wont have any problems
I can get sideways whenever I want, and driving 55 is kind of scary sometimes, but its nothign you cant handle if you are responsible

Seriously, if you dont drive like a jackass in the rain then you shouldnt have trouble with any type of DR. Remember, the tires are DOT approved. You can definitely drive in the rain with them but obviously not fast. You shouldnt be driving fast in the rain anyway haha. SO as radaman said, as long as you take your time in the rain, you should be fine.
