what's the best clutch for 00GT?
Everyone says the king cobra is the best clutch for a everyday driver such as mine. also saw this new floating flywheel clutch kit in the mustang magazine. what do you guys recommend for a all stock?

If you plan on many upgrades down the road a spec stage 2 would be ok.
A entry level like a mcleod would be good if you plan on staying fairly stock. I had a mcleod with full boltons + cams, and it was enough for that power level, but was still really light.

I had a mcleod before the spec stage 3. I went with the spec just because I wanted plenty of holding power down the road for future mods.
The mcleod was more than enough for a boltons GT. The pedal feel was almost like stock, and it was pretty smooth even without a new flywheel/resurface.
I got it at the same price as the KC I was gonna order, but it was supposed to hold a little more power.

IMO mcleod>spec, but for a relatively stock car a mcleod is a bit much
maybe im biased
but the mcleod i got (street twin) is supposed to hold 600rwph easy. d&d website had it for 800 fwhp with sotck pedal feel. what kind of power are you planning on making?
did you get the spec 3 or 3+? they are puck clutches and like to chatter. the spec3 has no marcel spring so there is no slipping the clutch in traffic, only on or off. not fun for a daily driver or a city car. 3+ is smoother engage but still a puck design.
stage 1 - 410 ft lbs tq capacity
stage 2 - 520 ft lbs tq capacity
stage 2+ - 620 ft lbs tq capacity
stage 3 - 680 ft lbs tq capacity
stage 3+ - 800 ft lbs tq capacity
stage 4 - 680 ft lbs tq capacity
stage 5 - 1100 ft lbs tq capacity
