I think this forum is pretty good. There's a couple people that might seem like a-holes, but often they know their stuff.

It's weird how on a generic Mustang forum like this, half the people are ********. The other half are composed of those who just want to learn, or are already experienced and willing to teach. Then you go onto local forums. Since there is a good chance of actually meeting these people, they tend to be a lot nicer, and not arm chair commandos. Interesting.

I like to say this is a good forum. There is teh occasional radical that think's it's their way or the highway.
There is no one BEST way to go about things. And if you think like that I'm sorry you do. Because that's what limits you...
98% of the people on this board will give you the best advice they can offer. The other 2% don't know wtf their talking about, or are trying to railroad you.

Why are people so damn shocked that the **** smokes? Its pure petroleum. That's what it does. Oil smokes when it burs right? So what do you think 100% petroleum is going to do? Anyway, as far as its effects, I'm not really sure. It would be nice if someone actually took appart an old engine, took some pics, put it back together, ran seafoam through it, took it back apart, and took some more pictures. That's really the only way i'd be impressed enough to use it.

I did it in my daily driver, but I am unwilling to do it in my mustang. It seems like it smoked alot more than it should have (after a few mintues all the fluid should have been burned, but it smoked for about 6 or so) but I am unsure it did anything.
I keep very close records of my fuel milage, so I might be able to tell a difference there. The drive is very repeatable, so I am able to tell if small changes make a difference.

well tons and tons of people have done seafoam and not had anything bad happen. Because one person has a bad experience does not mean anything. Are you gonna stop eating because some people get fat?

Cuz I don't put anything in my engine but oil & fuel. I had a bad experience with the "other" ****. A member in here, stang2000, put that crap in his motor on saturday and it blew on the following monday.
Coincidence??? Maybe, but I'm not taking that chance.
