I think I've read about making adapters, or buying them, but I honestly just suggest saving some money and getting a new head unit that has full iPod support. If you're going to use it much it will be nice.

Take a look: http://www.ajerman.com/car/newhu.jpg

I just bought a new Kenwood headunit and ipod interface, it was kinda difficult to find someone that knew how to hook up the head unit to the 460 system, I ended up findindg a solution and did it myself.

If you don't want to change your head unit (I understand, I love my 460), then you will either have to spend some good money on an FM transmitter or burn a lot of cd's. I have used the FM transmitters before and they usually worked well. Just make sure you get a quality one such as a Belkin. They actually work as opposed to the $10 pieces you can get. They tend to go from $30 to $80 but that is pretty much your only choice if you want to use your iPod.

I have a Kenwood Head unit, but I like my 460 and don't want to deal with the installation. If you are interested in it, it has the AUX input on the back of it. I just don't use it. It is a Kenwood KDC-MP225. I will sell it if you are interested.
