I keep records of any major jobs that have been done to my car by a shop. Also, if you do it yourself, you could always keep the reciept of packing slip of what you got when you recieved the part. Oil changes and crap like that - i don't keep.. but my clutch I did, my tires I will (until i need new tires), my brakes (until i need new ones), when I port my s/c I will... anything I change from stock i keep record of...

I'm under the extended warranty, so they do everything, including the oil changes. I have all of the records. Also, for the mods I've done myself, I have an excell spreadsheet of what is is, what is cost, and when it was installed.

I keep records of mods, and repairs and such. It is nice to keep as a reference and I keep mod receipts too.
