Default Header question

I'm looking to get a set of Hooker Long tube super comp headers (part number HOK-6230HKR for those who want it) for my 98 GT, but I am wondering if they will fit on the Ford Racing heads. Has anyone tired it yet, or know of someone who has? I've asked several distributers and some say yes, some say no. It's almost a 50/50 split. Any help would be great, thanks! Also so no one screams and yells about it, I've called Hooker, they are "Looking into it and will let me know as soon as they have an answer" Not the response I had hoped for Haha. Thanks again.

Default RE: Header question

well think about it, you got the stock exhaust hooked back up to the heads right? and the headers are supposed to replace the stock exhaust...there should be no real problem in changing them...you would have aftermarket exhaust right now if port shape or size was dynamically different from the stock set up for the headers not to match up

I dont have the heads yet, they wont be here till Thursday, so I haven't had the chance to look at them yet, but I was thinking along those lines you mentioned. Thanks for the input.
