Default Just Ordered 4.10's, What Else Needed to Install?

I just ordered 4.10's
I know I need the speedo gear (23 teeth?) , but what else is necessary?

And where can I get it all?
I know they have some kind of install kit. What all comes with it?

I dont want to take chances with reusing the shims. I'm the third owner, and the last guy didn't know his *** from a hole in the ground.

I think you won't need the speedo gear i think thos are for pre 99 stangs with the non digital counter. I think you need a chip burned for the right gears or a programmer for yours. and i would also recomend the install kit in case any thing gets dammeged on the install or removal.

You were right about the chip.
But they also have a controller that splices into the wiring to the trans which does the same thing. I ordered one of those and an install kit.

yea I agree w/ 96mustanggt...get an install kit..I got one when I have my gears put in and at the time my car only had 10k on it...but my shop recommended that I get the install kit cuz parts can get damaged and u dont wanna have to wait another week if something breaks and u dont have the extra parts from the install kit on hand
