when i turn my wheel, i can hear a squeeking/creeking noise, and i am wondering what i need to do. I made sure the power stearing fluid was full and it is. Do i need to lube something? any input would be appreciated.

well is it coming from outside the car or from inside like on the steering shaft or something cause my moms escort makes a squeeky sound whenever the wheel turns because of just a minor defect where her steering shaft meets her steering wheel...if its outside the car then it have to be addressed differently

 

Is it squeaking when you turn it all the way only? Maybe it's the tires rubbin?

 

hey sorry...the sound is coming from the engine compartment...its really annoying and has gotten worse and worse as time goes by. do i have a serious problem or just need to lube some joints?

 

I have a sound when I turn the wheels too. I can turn it back and forth between both sides and it squeaks both ways. I can also push down on the right front side and it will squeak, but not the left, or back.

 

does anybody know what my prblem is?
