Not true. As long as you use the sleeve that comes with the H-pipe, then you`ll be fine. I didn`t need to replace my studs. I don`t have any leaks.

yes, but be ready for an exhaust leak with the MAC H. They all have a bad sealing problem on the driver's side unless you replace the studs with aftermarket ones.
