Gotta buy one and dyno tune for my mods. Which one is best---local shop says SCT but that is because they carry them.

I have a predator but I'd go with SCT. I only bought the diablo because I found a deal on them. THey are both pretty much the same though.. The SCT has a few extra features such as a 2 step rev limit ( which I think is really cool). It has a rev limit for sitting still and for rolling. THis means that you could sit on the line at the track at your desired launch rpm then as soon as you let out on the clutch it would raise the rev limit to normal.

SCT is generally prefered more than the diablo anyway. The SCT handheld offers more options, and from my experence SCT dealers are generally better at tuning cars. It seems like SCT won't let them tune cars unless they know WTF they are doing.

i have had both and now have the SCT just for the simple fact that it works right. i tried to get my car tuned at the dyno with my diablo and it actually wasn't changing the parameters we were changing. I bought a SCT and bam, worked first time.
