It almost sounds like you're paranoid to drive. Not trying to be a smart ***, but if you're that worried, then maybe you shouldn't drive. lol I know that sounds bad. Do you know your house could rupture a gas line at anytime and blow up? Did you know a drunk driver could plow through the front of your house? Or you could be shopping and get caught in a robbery and get shot?

Now don't get me wrong I understand people needing to feel safe, but it just sounded like wowsers you were really unsure of the car's safety. And yes I think it's look pretty bad with that on there, versus a light bar.

Ok I'm off to work on my car AGAIN, lol.

I am putting one in my vert when engine is done. I have rolled in a car before and it aint no fun. I think about it all the time when I'm cruising in the vert, kinda puts a damper on the experiance.

Maybe go to a custom interior place and see if they can cover it some how.

Also a big cam lope and a roll bar is absolutely primative. [sm=crossbonesgif.gif]

Simple fact is .. its ugly as hell .. I bought a convertible to look good .. and I'd rather die with it looking good than looking like a POS ... The roll bar over the light bar is just extra homo looking ... If you ever are put in a situation to where you are going to flip your car.. you're probably gonna die of internal bleeding from the impact of the collision ..

I race my '08 Convert Roush. Some events require it.

LOL.

No...
I'm not sure I follow...are you saying this is a waste of time? Or the light bar is a better buy?

So nobody has ever rolled a 99-04 GT convertible? Ever?
Dont listen to this guy, I have a cage in my car, and I love the way it looks, but unless your doing some serious racing, I doubt you'll need it. Mine kind of looked like that, but the original owner had it converted to a full cage, and had a light strip atatched to it, and works as a brake light. It eliminates almost all chassis flex, and really helps the rigidity of the frame, so I think its a good Idea.

i have a vert that i race and they wont let me on the track without at the very least a 4 point bar. that is why i have a roll bar. some people need to get the tree out of their *** and realize that just because they dont like the looks, it might be needed sometimes.
