Honestly ... both blowers are badass, however you have to build for your application. Honestly If you really want to start spanking people, go the turbo route. Cost is generally the same, but with the new turbos, you don't have to wait to get into boost, and if someone wants to race you while you're in boost... you'll be gone no questions asked... its all a matter of prefence

I agree. I was set on a KB for the longest time. Then after research and pricing I realized that I could do a kickass turb setup for about the same price and be making even more power. When it comes to choosing between those two. Id say go with the one that fits into your driving style and budget more.

the only problem with a turbo or twin setup is that your bottom end will suffer more...unless you do the small and big turbo setup. me personally i like the kenne bell. at 14 psi the 2.1 makes like 520rwhp or so, and the fact that i like the boost down low. i have nothin against centris i just like my boost all the time.

You gotta be kinding me.... The Twin Turbo Set up I was looking at was around 7 grand plus, not including the motor work I had to do. To get to an estimated 600 rwhp I would be spend about 5200 on the motor and about 7000 on the install. And the turbo is a slightly more difficult to install then a supercharger.

I was seriously considering turbos as an option and I had the money set up... But I went with the supercharger option with the right set of heads and cams I can see upwards towards mid to high 500 rwhp and tap that off with some Giggle Juice and still have some money left over to strengthen my Rear End and get a decent suspension....

Rember never to get too involved with power.... its cool to have ALOT of power. But if you car doesn't know what to do with all that power.... you'll be getting spanked by cars like Code3GTs 2v N/A car at the track. Now if your goal is to meet people on the roads and just spank the hell outta them from a 30 mph roll, then yes that will be your department. But from a Dig..... even STIs and EVOs will get you.

nah you can actually do your own turbo setup for about 2k - thats my next project - do a rear mount and piece together a system - im looking to get 380 or so rwhp but it will make 480+ rwtq... dont believe all the trash they talk about rear mounts - they work pefectly and they are actually better for non forged motors bc they have much much cooler intake temps. the water rumor is not an issue - the only danger with rear mounts is speed bumps and bottoming your car out - but there are ways to make that an non issue as well.
