Drag radials.

If that doesn't help enough, get some upper/lower control arms.

Get a set of slicks if you have the $$$
drag radials like 2000gt said w/ some U/L control arms would also do the trick

MT E/T Streets................When you go to let out with your stock tires. Almost make it like your pulling away from a stop light. Dont dump it, just feather it til you feel it grab then FLOOR IT TIL YOU SEE GOD!

i use mt et streets almost a full slick with a few lines to make them dot approved, go in the water box smoke the tires in 2nd gear for a good second and dump the clutch at 4500-5000 at the line. well not dump let out quickly and that does the trick for me, oh and have 18lbs of air

I have always herd with street tires to not burn out in the water box but to avoid it and just burn out enough to scuff the tires.
and i have been running 25 lbs on the track @ 13 i was spinning all the way down the track pretty much/

BFG drag radials solved my problem even with 4:10's and nitrous.
