Finally, a kit that allows the P.I. manifold to bolt on to the 96-98 4.6L Ford 2-Valve modular engine. The new kit uses specialized adapter plates, a modified intake manifold (un-modified manifold will not clear stock hood), and gaskets to make it a direct bolt on with limited alterations. The kit is packaged so well that it will allow the use of a stock hood and strut tower brace. During testing we have seen as much as 35 rear wheel horsepower on a stock application. Tuning may be required due to the increase of airflow from the Non-PI Intake manifold

ok first off that adapter kit has been around for a while and the stock pi intake will fit under your hood. you don't need the kit, the pi intake just needs some adjusting

i have a 96 gt with the pi intake, clears fine, put miles on it and have had no problems.. love it, pulls harder in higher rpm.. im 19 and i put it on all myself in just a few hours.. you done need the adapter i talked to a ford dealer and you use the non pi gaskets with the pi intake and ive raced my car and drive it 40 miles to work and have no problems..

This is retarded there is more than enough room and I have that kit so its not like Im talking out my ***. Also I think I paid to much for it. It was worth it but thats not what matters, this is nothing new.
