Default Someone explain this pls.

I was wondering what this does more precisely. I am assuming it jus helps for straighter/stiffer launching etc...

Is it worth it to get this and add it a Stock 04 Gt auto? I do plan for future suspension upgrades.

I'm not sure how much its worht, but it's supposed to help in the handling department, it decrease the amount of flex when the shocks are put under stress.

most people that I have seen remove the swaybar when drag racing, and install it for handling. It prevents chassis flex side to side.

Put a 6pt chromoly roll cage in and welded subframe connectors and flex will be totally eliminated

It does exactly what is says, just like a front strut tower brace. It eliminates the flexing you get. Keeps the rear from twisting and the tires more in check instead of the rear shaking back and forth.

Oh, and helps disperse the unpredictable "snap around," that most RWD's have been notorious for...

I hope your are talking about the front swaybar and not the rear. Taking the rear swaybar off for drag racing is just stupid because it keep the tires level to get the power to the ground during launches. The rear shock tower brace stops the the 2 shock towers from moving in and out during turns. It really does nothing for launching just handleing. I wouldnt put it on a stock stang with stock rear suspension since they are really made for cars with rear coilovers so it adds support.
