99 Cobra Knock Sensor

99 Cobra Knock Sensor

First question is will a knock sensor throw a hard code causing the Check Engine Light to come on?

Secondly if they will throw a code, is there a bypass or way to unhook them and bypass them?

Does the 99 even have a knock sensor? I thought they did away with it after 98? I just remember reading it somewhere....

yup, in the valley of the block. getting ready to bolt up the lower intake, intercooler and s/c so wanna be sure of some things first. that is a lot ot take off after the fact when there is a possible bypass that we are unaware of.
