lol. Its the plastic piece youre cable rides on. when you replace it, you replace it with metal.

i had a bad problem w/ this when i replaced my stock clutch cable and quadrant to the bbk, its like the cable its self acctually rubs on the plastic hole it goes threw in the firewall. it made a annoying squeak noise and also made the clutch alil harder to press. so wat i did was cut up the firewall piece the cable goes through and put a rag under it in order to raise it up so the cable wudlnt rub. works soo far............talk about ghetto riggin though

tight metal cable on plastic quadrant = squeaks. you might try some dry lubricant like graphite on the two pieces to see if this quiets them down.
yes thank you guys, that is exactly what it was, checked everything the other night and it had nothing to do with the trani, the cable was hitting something just right, so all i did actually was wiggle it around, just a little tug here and a tug there, and its doiesn't squeak anymore, im guessing i might have hit it with something, who knows what, and it might have moved the cable a little. thanx for the help guys, and for you guys that thought it was a throw-out bearing, thanx but i just had the whole thing replaced about 2000 milea ago so i knew it wasn't that
