Default Light wheels

Anybody have pictures of these on a mustang:
1) iForged Aero
2) SSR GT1

I want them in black on my Torch Red Mach 1, but not sure on which will look better?
Might even do a Red lip on the Aeros if I get those...

Here you go... You musta have alot of money to afford those iforged wheels... Being about a $1000 a wheel... The SSR are more around $400 which isnt bad but you might have problems getting them, I heard SSR went out of buisness. But here are some pictures, I couldnt find the SSR GT1's but I think the GT3's look alot better...

19's

18's

19's (by far the sexiest mustang out of the three!)

Those SSR GT3's are oh so sexy!!

Oh and just for ****'s and giggles because this is an awesome looking GT!!

Just make sure you buy a high quality lightweight wheel. Avoid cast wheels like the plague. They'll bend or crack if you hit a pothole. Some companies do what's called low pressure casting...not sure how well that works. If you're serious on lightweight wheels, go forged.

I know, both of those rims above ^ are forged
I'll probably end up going with the GT3's since they are cheaper and I don't think I could get the GT1s anymore from Town Fair Tire ( I get a discount there )
With the GT3s, I want them to be black and red
Is it possible to powdercoat the lip red and the actual wheel black, as long as I sand it down before hand...or can you even sand down the chrome lip so you can paint it?

Like I said before it might be hard to find the GT3's but there nice. I beleive they are a 2 piece so you will have no problem taking them apart and powdercoating each part individually. Yes you can powder coat the chrome too. I have never seen the GT3 in black, they sell a gunmetal verson. Having it wil a red lip will be real unique, im curious to see what it looks like. Its a real gamble though incase it doesnt look good. It would look good if you painted the center section red (same red as yoru car) and kept the lip chrome. I have seen that it looks good. Look into www.hrewheels.com www.kinesismotorsport.com www.fikse.com and CCW wheels ( cant find a website for them. If you do post it because I have been looking for it.) All these have nice race wheels. But there expensive!! Since price isnt a problem for you. Go sick!

How much do the GT3's weigh?

I have the stock 17' 2003 GT chrome wheels. Anyone know how much they weigh?

The 18X9.5 GT3 weighs 24.5lbs
The 18x9.5 GT1 weighs 20lbs

I know it is a little bit risky, but I'm probably going to do it (middle piece all black, red lip, red lugs)
I don't plan on doing it until mid summer though, probably in July

SSR GT3

18x9.5 weight 25.6lbs
18x10.5 weight 26.5lbs.

sstang you probably have the 99 cobra wheels. I had those on my 03 gt. they are 17x8 and they weigh 22.5lbs.

Heres the SSR GT3 in the "bright satin". Oh and there a 3 peice wheel not 2 peice.
