he would have prob ran a slower time here in the south. it seems like people are kinda being sarcastic about the correction of himidity. it really does affect the car

geeze, i thought that was a pretty good time for pretty much a stock 96-98, my first run at the track with flowmasters (not a 2.5" catback, just 2.25" 40 series cans) and a k&n was 15.11 (mind u i had a clutch on its way out so i didnt wanna risk not being able to drive home) ill post my times from this comming weekend at milan drag strip in ohio, now i have a new king cobra clutch and a bbk cold air kit, so still pretty much stock.

So, I was wondering, now that I know what pretty much stock '98 Gts do quarter mile, what about the 0-60?? Anyone tested theirs? I managed to get mine to 6.18 sec. I did this with my Tesla G-tech.

Good job Razor. These are my times fo about the same 1/4 mile.
60'- 2.44
1/8- 9.787
1/4-14.986

60'-2.091
1/8-9.721
1/4-14.925

Those are with 3.73 gears, short throw shifter, K&n filter and Flowmasters

Razor, congrats on the 14.9 and 2.3 does not suck on street tires and stock gears for your car, in fact i dont know how much better you will get it maybe 2.1 or 2.2 w/out gears, tires or more HP. How many runs did it take of practice to get there? Its funny we all list our best but there are many more slower than that when things did not go so well. And Casper whats up with that second pass you listed. Your 60 foot went down to 2.09 from 2.44 and you did nt et much better ? That .4 faster 60 foot is usually good for big ET reduction at the end of the track but nice driving anyway.

Your run helps prove to doubters that the 99+ GT's (even though you don't have one) that put down 220+ RWHP are capable of dipping into the 13's bone stock. It's impressive your down to 14.4 with minimal mods. I'd vote your an awesome driver. Wanna come to Western MA and run my car for me

Sure, anytime Dan. Im thinking drag radials are comming soon, after my TB, plenum, and MAF. So after i get thos mods, i'll see 100mph. And lower 14's Maybe then i'll beable to run with a stock 99+ without any head work done to mine
