Lizzy - sorry if my post made it like i was takin a shot at you - i wasn't... I was at the guy who said it was a waste, haha... saw it kinda read interesting...

I have the 180 degree stat and I didnt notice much at all. I will say that for the sake of putting a 'new mod' on, it seemed to pick up quicker from the throttle but, that may just be because I did a 'new mod' and wanted to feel something. I would say that hpwise, the gain is minimal to none. It prob. doesnt hurt performance though.

zoie, the thermostat again has no positive horsepower gain.. the gain is in this.. it helps your heatsoaked engine... which causes you NOT to be robbed of horsepower as it gets hotter... Dont expect a gain, there isn't any. It just helps your engine temp.
