You won't see any horsepower gains per say, but it will keep your internal engine temps down. It's cheap and easy to do.

180 degree thermostat. I dunno, maybe 1 or 2 ponies. TB spacer = 0 hp gain. Waste of money.
Not really a waste of money!!! Keeps motor cooler which is good!!! HP is important but not everything!!!!
In the dictionary under redundant it's says, see redundant!

Bottom line, installing a 180 degree thermostat can only help in performance, not hinder it. But yea, no HP gains

I have the 180 degree stat and I didnt notice much at all. I will say that for the sake of putting a 'new mod' on, it seemed to pick up quicker from the throttle but, that may just be because I did a 'new mod' and wanted to feel something. I would say that hpwise, the gain is minimal to none. It prob. doesnt hurt performance though.

zoie, the thermostat again has no positive horsepower gain.. the gain is in this.. it helps your heatsoaked engine... which causes you NOT to be robbed of horsepower as it gets hotter... Dont expect a gain, there isn't any. It just helps your engine temp.

What's that worth as far as E.T. and trap speed?

I was talking about the TB spacer being a waste of money. All I meant to say about the 180 degree thermostat is that it is not worth hp gain.
