I think with a 1.6 drop you should be fine without them. I was fine with my 1.5" eibach pro-kit drop until I changed the shocks/struts to 93 GT foxbody shocks/struts. Now they told me I need to get some caster/camber plates.

The camber/caster plates are meant to give you a better range of adjustability than stock can provide. Lots of people that participate in auto-x or road racing like to install them because they can improve their handling with a more agressive alignment.

After you lower the car, take it to get aligned. If they get get the car in specs after the drop, then you don't need a camber kit. If they can't get it in specs, then you will need to buy the camber kit.

SOHCtimes2 - How is the ride with your Eibachs? Another member who also had Eibachs told me that his ride seemed too soft and bottomed out at times. Plus once his springs settled he notice his car sag to one side. Have you run into anything like that?
