MIL ELIMINATORS SUCK!

RE: MIL ELIMINATORS SUCK!
That is common with most aftermarket exhaust. You can either get another o2 sensor and hope it doesnt come back. Or reset the ecu by unhooking the battery and hope that solves it for a while. The only problem with the check engine light being on because of that is some other problem may pop up and you wont know because your light is already on.

If you can afford it get a handheld tuner like sct or diablosport predator and just turn the rear 02 sensors off.

the rear o2 sensors have nothing to do with running lean or rich. the front o2 sensors are the ones that help calculate the air/fuel ratio. the front o2s are still gonne have the same reading. the rear o2 sensors are used to make sure ur cats are working. ive been driving around with a check engine light for a little while now, and my gas mileage hasnt suffered at all.

There have always been rumors of a "limp mode" that if your CEL goes off the car will pull timing etc, but I have never seen any proof of this.
the car will still throw a CEL light every once in a while with the eliminators. My car did this, just disconnect the negitive bat cable for a bit and put it back on.
