Default MGW short throw OR Midpipe?

I got a little extra money from graduation. I was wondering if I should get the MGW short throw shifter or get an aftermarket midpipe (MRT catted H, or the Magnaflow catted X if I can get a better deal). My car already sounds really good with the Magnapacks but I'm sure it would open it up alot w/ the midpipe. However, the MGW I hear has great feel and is 100x's better than the stock shifter. I can't decide!

Well....do you ever race the car? The short-throw will help you ALOT when racing, but if you primarily just cruise I'd get the midpipe for now and get the short throw next.

Nah I don't race people, but I do love banging away the gears.

Shifter! It makes the car feel better and more fun to drive. Your mid pipe already works, it'll just make it sound a little better. Go for fun first!

Heh I'd LOVE to get both but I can't afford both. I think I'll do the MGW shifter first.. it's cheaper and will improve drivability.

Might as well, it costs next to nothing and will help at least some. I have yet to install mine because I'm stalling so I don't have to get in there until I change my tranny fluid which I should have done today but I was too busy cleaning it and doing other things.
