Default Question about under-drive pullies

American Muscle.com has Steeda and BBK Aluminum. Are the BBK's just as good as the steeda because the polished pullies would look sweet.

BBKs are junk "piggy-back" style. Go with Steeda and don't look back. They may not be shiny, but they do the job way better and without possible damage.

+1. Piggy-back's don't do anything for performance. I've even heard rumors of them losing performance...idk. The extra money here is worth it. If you don't want to pay that much then don't do underdrive pulleys at all!

Something to do with the alternator pulley I believe....won't charge as much as the stock pulley. (hence the exra hp gain)

The alternator pulley will turn slower. Which means less amperage by a little bit. Shouldn't be a problem at all. If it is, or if you go to a huge Gorilla in the Trunk stereo or something just upgrade to a high amperage alternator to compensate.
