Posted this in the 5.0 forum with no luck so maybe ya can help??

Going home on friday after wrk got on to I-20 and decided id let some wind blow by me real fast. I got her up to about 140 then let off but as she was going down between 110 and 80 there was a very bad shake in the rear. I mean it was violent damn near broke my arms trying to keep her from (it seemed like she wanted to fish tail) after 80 it went away. i was not braking during this!! Any ideas?

not sure.. might want to get some more opinions but maybe your shocks etc.. are warn and causing your wheels to wear unevenly.. I would try checking your tires.. It might not be this but it's worth looking into.

ummm, get the rearend checked out. did it make any loud noises?

my brothers blew while he was going about 40, and the rearend jumped and made a big BAM noise. had to replace the differential.

Found out problem i recently had new Comp TA's installed on rear at Moores Goodyear. We looked at the rearend real good last night and decided id take the tires off to see if i could see anything. Well there was only 1 lugnut left on the right rear 2 bolts were sheared and two others with lugnuts missing. How the rim stayed on at those speeds is beyond me i feel luck but god im sooo fing pissed. Car will go back to Moores tomorrow. Will let ya know the out come.
