Idle Problems

Default Idle Problems

I've been haveing idle problems the last couple of days.. whenever i stop my car comes close to cutting off.. and sometimes it does cut off.. the rpm gets low and goes back up and sometimes cuts off... what should i do

You should buy a new IAC.

Then you should pay me $25 for excellent & redundant tech advice because Ford can't do anything right.

Here I thought it was the euro tail lights causing the problem..........

Defiantly sounds like the IAC, I just had almost the same problem. My car would bounce back in forth between 500 and 800 rpm's rapidly. I gave the IAC a good cleaning and it has so far solved the problem.

Probably should change your spark plugs while you are at it.
