Cams and a tune/dyno run cost like $1300 or alittle more, so thats all your money right there. If I were you I would just get the longtubes, SLP would be my guess, just because that is what they say goes with the SLP x-pipe, than I would get the stall converter set at like 3000 or maybe alittle more. Good luck with it all, and I guess your lucky, I'm 21, and dont have any room for mods, but then again I just got married, have an $800 house payment and 2 car payments worth about $750. Oh well, maybe one day I'll have money for mods.

Get my new wheels and springs. 18x9 black bullitts up front with 275's 18x10 DD in the back with 305's or 315's. And a pro kit.

I thought you just bought a LS juan? I would be doing headers/cam in the LS1 way before messing with a couple boltons for your GT.

I was gonna mention that, but I thought he was talking about his GT. Stanggang, would you wanna mod the Camaro, or are you trying to finish off the GT before you start on the Camaro?

lol since when was my name Juan? Close, lol. My name if Jim for future refrence.......Yeah i was thinking about it and i may keep the Ls1 fairly stock for a while and just use it for cruising around, maybe add a catback or something to get the sound. It would be a nice summer car for going out to the my lake cottage, T tops FTW! I want to have a nasty GT and eventually go FI but it would be cool to see 12's in an N/A auto, that will shut up all the haters...but i jsut made a find on E bay on a vortech so maybe i will be F/I quicker than i thought

Rofl. El Es Juan is how I should have put it I guess. I was refering to your LS1 equipped F body, not your name

There isn't much done to your stang atm... do you realise that an exhaust/lid/cammed LS1 car would be nearly as fast/as fast as a FI GT with all the boltons right?

LS1 > 2v so far as bang for the buck goes. there simply is no comparasion.

yeah i kno, i kno its just the Stang has always been my baby, i want to finish her off. The only reason i bought the F body was because i couldnt pass up a 2000 Z28 with 44k miles for 10,800....i could probably sell it and make some money
