Default Pulley Install

I have read all the post about underdrive pulley installs and i got the idea you need an impact wrench to take off the alt pulley, which i dont have. Well the only place near me wants to charge me 20 bucks to take it off!!! I really want to get these pulleys swapped out tonight. Anyone know if there is a way to get this done without an impact wrench? If so any helpful tricks?

The belt will just slip if you try that. The impact is about the only way. I had one at hand, so it was easy for me. I did a write up on this a while back.

If you are willing to trash the stock pulley you can always vice-grip it, but that's pretty ghetto.
