SPEDOMETER :(

I have a 97 Mustang GT and my spedometer stoped working now it is at 0 the whole time. does anyone know what could cause that?

Nope. And sorry I didn't know i posted the same question somewhere else. The only thing that works is.. The RPMs..

thant happened in my 99 GT i shut it off and turned it back on like 3 times and it worked, and if that dont work disconnect the battery for like 10 min hopefully that will do it....

im not sure if its true, but ive heard of the gears in the speedo not working. if all of your other gauges work, then it might be the gears. trying disconnecting the battery a few times. it also might be stuck.
