Slp with BBK LTs??? also Gear???
I really love my slp exhaust its loud and deep and I wanted quality exhaust, I really want the SLP Lts but they are like 800 bucks and I was wondering if the BBK LTs would sound good with my lm2s and catted X. I dont want my car to sound like I have cheap exhaust so should I go with the BBKs or get the SLP. I have been listening to exhaust clips but no1 has the same setup as I do im going nuts!!!!
I would like to get the bbks because they are so much cheaper.
Also I should be buying Gears soon. has anyone went to the dealer for the install and how much did you pay?
Thanks in advance.

kooks, slp, dynatech and american racing make top quality LT headers. i personaly bought bbk but didnt put them on yet, they seem great|$510| i didnt trust the macs. dont buy jba, they have cheap 409 stainless which will rust. also get ceramic coating.
im sure all the headers for the mustang sound the same...

That is what I was thinking, if im right doesnt the catback and the mid pipe really determine the sound.... bbks and slp prob produce the same amount of hp and prob sound the same but im just **** about things with my car, everything i buy has been researched for about 2 weeks before I actualy bought the item.

I'm in the same situation as you....I have SLP LM1 catback on my mach 1, and I am going to purchase headers/midpipe soon. I planned on going with SLP headers, but now I am going to do a BBK H-pipe with BBK headers (much cheaper + performance virtually the same)...and it should sound good

I Just last week my buddies who is a mechanic installed BBK Headers, BBK Catted X-Pipes, And a Dyno Max Exhaust, On my 98' GT.. First off it was harder, and more of a pain in the rear then I or He thought on the install... Fortunately he didn't strip or break any nuts or bolts.. But yet he still had to replace them all, he said they were too long... It took about 8 hrs to complete start to finish... But man was I excited when I got to drop that clutch.... Instant Power.. I drove it to Vegas Last weekend and to my surprise my gas mileage got better, although one of my catts on the previous pipes was clogged... This is my first Mustang and I’m excited to start building on it..Parts Cost me $895 Hope I didn't get screwed... And if so too late now...
