That tuner screwed you. He should have been able to compensate for the lean condition without lowering your jet setting if he had half an idea of what he was doing. But then again, you said it was a chevy shop, maybe he didn't want you running close to the LS1's, haha.

Thats what i thought!!! I figured if its running lean with that shot program more fuel into it!!! I did program a little more fuel into it when i left (3pts) i should put the other jet back in.

Lean melts things made from aluminum and cracks also. I spent over $2K for about a .5 quicker et and a 5-6 mph increase. Even the new GT with 279whp did not get much on the video that came at the store mags in MM & FF. They added a beautiful stainless exhaust, including headers, 3" piping and got about 10whp. That system had to cost near $1200.+ They ultimatly aded a SC and got it to around 442whp and it still only ran 12.3x's. They did the TB, CAI, gears, UDP's. Little gains and that was on a 3v motor so even less on a 2v. Kenne-bell SC. :>
