Allright So heres the deal. I know all these kids and i'll tell you wat this ktown gt kid is possibly the most horrible racer ive ever seen.....His car is completely stock and he talks a lot of ****. The 06 GT is NOT a bad or average driver. He knows how to handle his car...He has intake, sct x-cal(some kind of intake chip?),... programmer, cat back exhaust and x pipe. the 02 GT does NOT have stage 3 cams...He has stage 1 cams. and bolt ons and gears short shifter, forced induction intake manifold bigger throttle boddy. He has about 275hp to the ground......The 06 has about low 300's to the ground....FINAL THOUGHT= DOnt talk **** about others driving when u suck at it urself.... MUCH LUV S2K DRIVER.....

If the guy has stage 3 cams that was the problem...stage 1s would've put him up for the win for sure. There's no use for the stage 3 cams on a stock shortblock.Real power won't come until probably after 5500 rpms and will pull way past redline...his low end power suffered tremendously. Aggressive cams doesn't necessarily mean aggressive power on an otherwise bolt-on car.
+1

A properly tuned full boltons + cams PI GT should make 280 to 290 WHP, but it also weighs quiet a bit less than a 05/06 GT. With cams + boltons I was putting a real hurting on 05/06 GTs.
