RE: i want the neighborhood to wake up
If you want loud with a little tone left get slp LM1's and a O/R prochamber, if you want all out raw and loud get the lm1's and a non-clamshell o/r x... And the good thing about the slp catback is if you get tired of the loud you can swap in some lm2s or power flo's.

I dont really see how LM's sound like a school bus either.... I have LM II's and I love the sound. They are still loud, not as loud as LM I's, but they are very deep. Heres my video of the stock vs LM II's. Its a little long, but has many different clips, from rev, idle, slow and fast driveby's, in-car, ect.http://videos.streetfire.net/video/b32ad2e8-bc0b-47a6-bdf8-9892001b7abf.htm

RE: i want the neighborhood to wake up
I got stock exhaust manifolds, catted x-pipe, and flows. My car is not THAT loud, and I don't like it. I WANT IT LOUDER TOO!!! I built a Shelby Cobra with my dad and that thing is insane. 392 Ford crate motor with Hooker headers and straight through 4 into 4 side exit exhaust with NOTHING in the pipes, no cats, no muffs, no glasspacks...nothin. That thing sounds like 6 Harleys in one.
So I'm used to loud lopey cars. I need to get rid of my stock headers and grab some longtubs, then change to LM I's, and get a set of cams to make that thing lope! I love loud cars, like you gotta speak up at idle to hear me. Thats how I like it.

BBK longtube headers and o/r x-pipe, remove the rest of the system after that. If you take off the x-pipe too, it doesnt idle right and dies at stoplights. Plus it gives it a Nascar sound as opposed to just a reallyobnoxiously loud car.
