A few questions on long tube headers
Ok i am wanting to get some long tubes and would like to know where i can get a good brand that is not super expensive and a x pipe that will fit. ALso where to the front o2 sensors go, do they screw into the headers or what, And last my car is pretty low and right now my bassani xpipe that i have somethimes scrapes if i get long tubes will they be too close to the ground and scrape or will they stay tucked in enough to not worry. Thanks for any info

BBK longtubes will run you about $400 or you can get MAC which are a bit cheaper... Shop around mabye on ebay and you can find cheaper. The O2 sensor just screws into the bottom of the LT just like it does on your x-pipe and exhaust manifolds. LT's low your mid pipe down a bit, but probably only 1/2"-1" lower than you have it now. You just have to be careful where you go, and hit speed bumps that you know you usually scrape on at an angle so one wheel is always on the bump and allows extra clearance.

your midpipe won't work with long tubes
[edit] I guess it would with some chop/cut/rebuild the LTs come back alot farther than stock manifolds... many people forget this

RE: A few questions on long tube headers
I have a set of Hooker LT that I really like. I had a custom crossover pipe made at my friends shop, my car is not super low (H&R sports) so I can clear most speed bumps with ease, but some need to be angled abit to get over. Don't forget you'll need o2 sims if you are not running cats.
