That wont mess up the paint job around it?

 

No it didn't on mine because the touch up paint was just put there and was dry but not cured. Plus there is no clear over it.
I was careful and did not go scrub the s**t out of it. It came off easy.

If you are worried, get some wide painters tape (low tack green stuff) and isolate the area so that only the areas you touched up are exposed and then you can go at it. Don't think you will have to go that far though.

So do ya'll think i need to file a police report. It happened while i was away at college and i moved home already, would it even make a difference.

Yea it is cause some poor ******* has a ****ty car so he sees mine and tries to ruin mine. I wish i would have found out who did it.

Im sure if u explain it to them they will understand......actually probably not, they will try and screw you over....esp since it was at school. I got in an accident at school because someone backed into me. The school nor the insurance agency or the police did anythign about it, i forgot what they siad its called, but i had to pay for my car.

 

If you have insurance, this should not have happened. You have to push things... no one is going to want to hand you money..

There should never be a time when something happens to your car and you have to just "let it go".......

My firebird got keyed (84 Firebird new 350) I just had Monte carlo blue with sparkle flakes and silver stripes ......keyed threw everything.1. A. call police file report within 24 hours (i think) just dial 911 non-emergency if you live where cops arent busy one might come look otherwise one wont2. call insurance and they will come look at it. At a scheduled time and give you a estimate on it. 3. They should tell you how much the check is for or you can get it looked at a shop estimate.
