hey guys,
i need good tires for the dragstrip and i cant have drag slicks but as long as thier dot approved i can h
ave them so im sure i can have drag radials becuase they are street legal..

i want to know what are good brands and models and which ones you guys know are good

Mickey Thompsons and Nitto's are some of the best drag radials you can buy. I've heard that the MT's are better for track duty, but suck in the rain on the street. The Nittos are not as good on the track, but dont suck as much in the rain on the street.

yea i would say go with the Nitto NT555's. They will give you a good deal of traction and last longer than the MT dr.

I'd like to add to that. Mickey Thompsons and BFG's are some of the best drag radials you can buy. Nittos are ok, and would do fine with a bolt on car.

Heres the BIG question. Are you going to drive on them all the time? Or are you just taking them to the track?

If your are just going to run them at the track, then go BFG or MT.

mostly for track but it takes me 2 hours to go to track and i would change the tires at my house before i go so i need them to be good on street

i know micks are the best imo but i know they sucks ***** on the raod n its a 300 mile trip to the dragway so i needa good tire if it rains so im leaning on 555r ive heard mostly good things unless ne one else has ne thing to say?????
