Default Putting on the miles. . .

Alright guys we all hear that over time engines loose power with age. My motor has 100k on the clock but my compression checks out just fine. I change my oil every 5 and i use full synth. I do all the good stuff. Run some BG cleaner or seafoam from time to time etc so i know this is a noob question but am i really loosing power? I mean my bottom end is still in really good shape. What do you guys think?

Just get it off your chest, and go forged shortblock. You can go from 100k miles to 0. Just gotta pay up.

It's not the end of the world just because you hit the 100k mark, remember you're driving a Ford and you've done your periodic maintanance, so you'll be fine. [8D]

Yeah, 100k is really not that much. Sure you lose power because things get sloppier over time, but it's not that much. It's not like you're down to 100hp now or anything. There's a simple solution to loss of horsepower and it comes in a bottle
