1a statechamps

I have just bought a 99' mustang cobra with 4.3 gears and a flowmaster exhaust. It has been recalled. There are two kids in my school that think can run with me. One has a 2000 grand prix GTP that is stock and the other onehas a 1996 mustang GT which is also stock. Can I beat them or should i be worried? What do u guys think.

you should beat them easily. non pi's are slow and s/c 3800 motors arent that powerful. my dad has a s/c monte carlo ss. i know.

4.30 gears is crazy so dont launch it hard or you may burn out bad and look stupid and loose. Just roll out slowly and then get it on it whoop them hard.

I would not be the least bit worried with either of them. I waxed a GTP (barely) right after I got my GT when it was bone stock. You would fly by the 96 GT like he was standing still.

i wouldn't even waste my time racing them, if your in high school i wouldn't even race cause a teen w/ a 99 cobra and 4.30's doesn't sound to good heh, and this is coming from someone in high school also

not worth the gas...stock 96GT is a dog...GTP when modded get into the 13's but stock aren't much better then the 96GT
