Can you leave nitrous in the line after turning the bottle off or should you open the fitting to release the pressure if you don't spray it?

I know I just don't have a purge valve yet. I am getting one but what about for now?

 

Get it out of the line. Too much constant pressure on the solenoid is bad.

 

Yep, I didn't have a purge for a couple of years....so I just closed the bottle and cracked the hose fitting til it bled off the pressure. BTW, I picked up absolutely nothing at the track after installing the purge.......but it was waaaay cool purging at the line PISSSST......PISSSST
