Default Lowered stang ????

Why do peoplehesitate about lowering their stangs. I lowered mine with the eibach sportline kit. It looks great, rides great and handles great. I have 18x9 deep disheswith 275/35 bf goodrich kdw2on all four corners. I only scrape ocassionaly on speed bumps and thats with long tubes and prochamber. So go ahead and lower them stangs or put some 4x4 stickers on them.

Everyone has a different impression or a different type of terrian and or a different look they want so that why there are some many ride height options. It also depends on the midpipe setup slp has one of the lowest hanging mid with cat setups out there which makes it not get along well with speed bumps and other inclines.

I rather spend my money on the engine then looks but you can do what you want. Thats not the best way to lower your stang anyway you should do the shocks, struts, and springs.

Alot of the aftermarket springs drastically affect 1/4 times. Not all springs make times worse, bt some do. My friend has an 04 Mach 1 and put H&R springs on (2in drop) and lost .2 on the 1/4... For some reason he was slower with his 4.10s too... dunno, lol

I got FRPP C springs, just installed em, and so far so good - spring rates a near stock and they carve pretty good

As soon as the ride gets out of the body shop I will post some pics. I take it to the track about once or twice a month. Maybe the springs slowed me down or the 18x9 deep dishes on each corner. Maybe this summer after the install kb I will be as fast as I look and sound.

when i put my H&R springs on, 2 in drop, my times dropped a hair also. i think it has to do with the weight transfer upon lift off or when you take off at the line. the 2 in drop kills it alittle. I've never been scared to lower my cars but with my new one, i plan on long tubes and don't wont to knock it here and there and have it leak, so for now it's no springs.
