just bought my mustang GT 2002 with 20,000 miles and brakes seem to sqeek every once and a while could this be caused by water or pads being wet or even brake dust in there. everything is stock.

I have slotted on my car, cross-drilled have a tendency to crack on their own and mostlyif their hot and you hit a puddle which is bound to happen, plus I think they are overkill on a street car. The slotted ones help keep the dust down. If yours are not worn to the minimum thickness, ( its stamped somewhere on the rotor ) you can have them cut and re-use them, about 10.00 each which is cheaper then buying new ones, good luck.
