Default Stroker kit?

Im looking fora way to get some extra power out of my 2000 mustang GT. I heard Stroker Kits are a good way to get power the car has 120,000 on it and supercharging is too expensive and would blow the block up. I've researched a bunch of kits does anyone know the average horsepower gain?

A stroker kit doesn't add alot of HP but it adds alot of TQ. If your going to rebuild it might as well bore and stroke it. Well at least thats what I told myself during my rebuild.

All great points.

Big bore, not just shaping up the cylinders like .020-.030 over. Big bore Kit+stroker would be nutso.

For the big bore you need an aluminum block and have it sleeved.
