Oil Cooler install help
I just installed an oil cooler into my 2000GT. I didn't think about it until after i had finished the job that the place i mounted the cooler may not be the best. I put it in front of the the radiator and the power steering fluid cooler lines. The oil cooler is resting against the power steering cooler lines. Does anyone know how hot your power steering fluid gets (i have looked everywhere and can't seem to find an answer)? Is it around the 200 degree range like oil and coolant, or am i going to be over heating my power steering fluid by having the cooling lines touching the oil cooler? Thanks in advance for the help.

RE: Oil Cooler install help
No matter how hot either one gets, it's a bad idea to rest anything against one another! I would try to bend your power steering lines away from the oil cooler or vice-versus. You only need 1/4-3/8" of seperation between the two. Direct contact is a bad idea when the motor starts to torque when your foot is in the gas!
