RE: Tech question
Use an impact gun. But if thats not available, at sears they sell a "wrench" that basically look slike part of a serpentine belt. Its adjustable, simply wrap it around the pulley and crank away. BTW, the factory bolt usually has loc-tite on it, so heating it up a little might help also.
Or you can simply stick a screw driver in one of the holes in the flexplate/flywheel. Turn it till it jams against the block. You have to be VERY careful with flexplates though. THeyre so thin thats they might actually bend.
-P.
PS: Definitly try heating it. You dont have to get it super hot or glowing. About 30 sec. to a minute with a propane torch, no oxy. With oxy probably no more than 10 secs.

RE: Tech question
I kinda rigged it up a bit. I screwed two bolts intotwo of thestock pulleyholesand then stuck a bar in between the bolts. While I held the bar in between the bolts my dad broke the nut loose and then took it off. Its kind of hard to explain and I dont know if it has the patential to break anything but it worked for me. Beats trying to fit an impact in there.

Dude you're awesome. Ok so i tightened down the bolts and was moving the crank pulley and the bolts wedge themselves in the and the crank bolt losened right up. Really easy actually. Makes me think someone has been in here before. . . .

RE: Tech question
Ive also done this thing with a breaker bar. Put your socket with a breaker bar on the bolt turn it until the breaker bar stops against the frame, then tap the starter over . Thatll break it loose.

RE: Tech question
Ok guys next question. .
I put the puller on like its supposed to go and im tightining the big screw in and that baby is stuck. I cant really even move it with a pipe attached to my wrench. I know the center screw screws in and the tip sits in the hole and then as you screw the center screw in it pulls on the three screws and pops the pulley out of place but that baby wont move. It wont pop out. Any suggestions?
