If all you have is nitrous, then you def. don't need a 90mm. With the short blasts that you use the nitrous on your car won't run right without the no2. I would say stick with your stcok and get a mafia tuner. That'll open up the door to like 5v to where you'll never peg out. You can just turn it back when your not racing. They run around $150

Your MAF has nothing to do with nitrous... nitrous is injected into the engine after the MAF.

You either spray the nitrous in just before the t/b (along with the extra fuel required) or you have a system like the holley one where it increases the injector pulse for you. Even in that system, I am 99.99 percent sure the MAF has nothing to do with it.

The MAF cannot read the differnce between nitrous and air coming into the engine. Compressed nitrous is a completely different animal from regular air... aka it is not gonna read the same (per unit of fuel required).

I don't see how you are pegging even a stock MAF let alone a aftermarket one. This almost has to be an issue with your shop (unless the maf is just messed up). I have heard of several people in the very low 400 range "pegging" the 90mm lighting meter as well... its got to be their shop (the stock L meter makes more than that on a stock truck!)

I dont have anything near the amount of Air coming in that you do.

I'll be just fine with a 90mm and 24lbs. I was just making sure that I could calibrate this MAF to match my car/injectors.
you don't calibrate the MAF's on these cars to match injectors...its done in the tune. The MAF's that require you to trick the car with sample tubes such as C&L etc are not good. You should use the stock for most NA applications up to 350rwhp and a 90mmLMAF after that. If your going with big power then a SCT 2400 or 2800 is the next step. Those are the only 3 MAF's that i would use on a modular. Maybe a Pro-M blow through in a custom Turbo setup.

Good info...Get a stocker and get your tuner to tune the car with the stock MAF and 24#'s
