My son's a mechanic at Meineke Mufflers, and he just called to say the Mac catted h-pipe I ordered is such a poor fit overall (alignment, rubbing with underside components) that he's sending it back and wants me to order something else. Has anyone else had fitment problems with the Mac h-pipe?

I had no problems with mine. I installed it myself in an hour and a half, no leaks and sounds great.

Well, given the positive responses, it looks like we just got a defective one. The cats are rubbing against the tranny (auto) on one side and floor pan on the other, so after looking over it again today we're just going to cut the cats out and do some welding. I'll get some Steeda MIL eliminators and be done with it.

Thanks for the feedback.

Yeah, they don't make X pipes. Just H and Prochamber.
